Contraindications although unlikely, may prevent you from receiving treatment, at your first appointment. You would then be referred appropriately, to a more suitable Doctor. You should allow 1/2 an hour for your appointments, and will recieve gentle manipulation, postural advise, intrasound, and massage. Exercises will be prescribed where appropriate. Lifestyle, ergonomics and dietary advise may also be given. You are advised to wear a comfortable tracksuit and not to plan any strenuous activities for 48 hours after the first session. There is ample off street parking, and the practice is essentially confidential, in a quiet, rural location. It is 10 minutes drive from Bracknell, Wokingham and Twyford town centres. There are no on-site x-ray facilities. Referals are made directly to private x-ray,MRI,and bone density scanning hospitals where qualified radiographers reports are commissioned. Patients with medical insurance can reclaim their fee's and recover the cost of all or some of the costs of appointments. They should call their medical insurer before their first appointment to receive an authorisation code and a claim form and envelope to send their receipt back in.
